Elizabeth Merrihew, Owner & Chief Designer
Elizabeth brings together a deep technical understanding of botany and soil science — grounded in a degree from the College of Environmental Science & Forestry, School of Landscape Architecture at Syracuse University — along with a personal love of horticultural design and years of experience here in the western CT region. She will make sure that your home or business is a beautiful and usable space you can be proud of.
She also has specialized expertise in site water management issues and wetland conservation requirements and has worked on many such home and business projects to ensure landscapes drain properly and meet all state and local code requirements.
Hardscaping Experts
If your design requires special non-planting fixtures in your landscape such as concrete, stone or brick walkways, walls — either retaining structures or merely decorative features — or patios/terraces, then we also have access to hardscaping expertise to both design and install these. We will go over what permits need to be filed and manage the process to make sure that all your hardscaping is installed with your lifestyle in mind.

We have crews of experienced landscaping installers & maintainers that we have successfully worked with and managed over the years. They make sure that our designs are executed flawlessly and maintained beautifully, protecting your investment over time.
